How to apply.
Four steps. The form on its own is not an application — it is the work you send with it that decides the outcome.
- 01
Complete the form
One page: your details, your disciplines, the past work you want us to see, and two references we can actually call.
- 02
Send it with your portfolio
Email the signed form to info@sunsetmediame.com with a portfolio, a showreel or links to recent projects. This is the part that decides it — show us what you can do, not what you offer.
- 03
Procurement reviews it
Our procurement team assesses the work you send, speaks to your references, and checks that your licences, insurance and capacity fit the projects we run.
- 04
We come back to you
You are told the outcome either way. If you are accepted, you go on the roster and we brief you when a scope fits what you do.
How the arrangement works.
No retainer, no exclusivity and no fee. A clear split of responsibility, agreed in writing before a project starts.
Sunset Media brings
- Briefs that arrive fully scoped and budgeted — no pitching, no chasing.
- Creative direction, and the standard the work is held to, set by our team.
- The client relationship, communication and sign-off, handled end to end by us.
- Clear terms and prompt payment, set out in each project order.
- A listing on our Trusted Partners page, once you are accepted.
You bring
- Specialist depth on a defined scope — the crew, kit or discipline a brief calls for.
- Your own team, equipment, licences, insurance and tax compliance.
- A written quote for each project — you are free to decline any brief.
- Portfolio material and references that show what you can do.
- Discretion: what you learn about our clients stays between us.
Questions, answered.
Does sending the form put me on the roster?
No. The form is an application, not an acceptance. It goes to our procurement team together with your portfolio, they review it against the work we actually run, and we come back to you with an outcome either way. A form sent without work to look at will not be assessed.
What should I send with it?
Whatever shows your standard fastest: a portfolio, a showreel, or links to two or three recent projects with a line on what you did on each. Pick the projects closest to the kind of work you want from us, not simply the biggest names.
Does it cost anything to apply or to be listed?
No. There is no fee to apply, no fee to join the roster and no fee to stay on it. You are paid per project, for the scope you take on.
Is it exclusive?
No. Acceptance is not exclusive and guarantees no volume of work. You remain free to work with any other agency or client you choose.
Who owns the client relationship?
Sunset Media does. We hold the account, set the creative direction, and handle the scope, communication and invoicing. You work with us rather than with the client, and the form asks you not to approach clients we introduce directly for those services, during a project and for twelve months after it ends.
How and when am I paid?
Per project, on the terms set out in the project order you accept before the work starts. Pricing is agreed from your own quote, not imposed.
What do you do with my portfolio?
We use it to assess the application and, if you are accepted, to match you to the right scope — and, as the form sets out, we may show relevant examples and references when we are putting a team together for a project. Only ever what you give us. Tell us on the form if an item is under NDA or must be credited a particular way, and we will respect that.
Can I leave the roster?
Any time, by email. We remove your listing from our Trusted Partners page within 30 days. Material already printed or sent out may take longer to withdraw.
Something not covered here? Ask us and we will come back to you.
